Portland WINTER LIGHT FESTIVAL

We brought DynaMandala to the Portland Winter Light Festival this year and experienced it across two distinct settings, each shaping the work in its own way. The first weekend at Bridgespace featured a 36′ x 13′ screen, allowing the piece to fully open up, drawing people in with a steady current of movement, curiosity, and interaction.

The second weekend at the World Trade Center shifted into a more contained environment with a 20′ screen in a private room, though the energy remained just as active. The space stayed full throughout the night, with a constant flow of people moving in and out, gathering around, and stepping in to engage.

Across both weekends, the response was consistently strong. Positive feedback, repeat visitors, and a wide range of participants all finding their way into the work. There was a clear sense of connection forming; moments where curiosity gave way to engagement, and engagement became something shared.
